Appakonam Kula Sekar popularly known as A.K.Sekhar (1906 - 1980) is a well-known Art Director of Telugu and Tamil Movies from 1934 to 1980. A.K.Sekhar along with Ramnoth created many records in the initial years of Telugu, Tamil talkies. Sekhar is considered as the forefather of Art Direction in Telugu/Tamil movies. He made so many successful experiments in Art Direction as well as sound recording departments. Many successful movies like Chandralekha, Bhaktapothana , Malliswari etc.. are enriched with A.K.Sekhar's art direction skills. C.S.Rao (Chittajallu Srinivasa Rao : 1924 – 2004) was an Indian actor, writer and director. He was the son of film director Chittajallu Pullayya. He directed around 60 films in the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Oriya languages. He garnered two National Film Awards for directing the films Lava Kusa (1963) and Desamante Manushuloyi (1970). GORA (Goparaju Ramachandra Rao ) (15 November 1902 – 26 July 1975) was an Indian social reformer, atheist activist and a participant in the Indian independence movement. He authored many books on atheism and proposed atheism as self-confidence. He propagated positive atheism by his articles, speeches, books and his social work. He is the founder of Atheist Centre along with his wife Saraswathi Gora and a few volunteers. Social reformer Late G. Lavanam, politician Late Chennupati Vidya, and physician G.
