Guru Dutt was an Indian film director, producer, actor, choreographer, and writer. He was included among CNN's "Top 25 Asian Actors" in 2012. Guru Dutt was lauded for his artistry, notably his usage of close-up shots, lighting, and depictions of melancholia. He directed a total of 8 Hindi films, several of which have gained a cult following internationally. This includes Pyaasa (1957), which made its way onto Time magazine's 100 Greatest Movies list,[ as well as Kaagaz Ke Phool (1959), Chaudhvin Ka Chand (1960), and Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam (1962), all of which are frequently listed among the greatest films in Hindi cinema. 20 శతాబ్దం ప్రధమార్థంలో తెలుగుసాహిత్యాన్ని సుసంపన్నం చేసిన సాహితీప్రముఖుల్లో ఒకరు 'కవికోకిల' దువ్వూరి రామిరెడ్డిగారు. కృషీవలుడు, నలజారమ్మ, వనకుమారి లాంటి పాతికపైగా పద్యకావ్యాలు వ్రాశారు. పానశాల, పండ్లతోట లాంటి అనువాదకావ్యాలు వ్రాశారు. నాటకాలు, సాహిత్యవ్యాసాలు వ్రాశారు. సినిమాలకు రచన చేశారు. ఒక సినిమాకు దర్శకత్వం చేశారు. వందేళ్ళ క్రిందటే కెమేరా, రేడియో సొంతంగా తయారు చేశారు. తను మరణించాక కూడా సైన్సు వ్యాసాలు వ్రాసిన వాళ్ళకు పురస్కారాలు అందచేయడానికి ఓ ట్రస్టు స్థాపించారు.. ఇంత బహుముఖ ప్రఙ్నత్వమున్న రామిరెడ్డిగారు చదువుకున్నది కేవలం ఎనిమిదో తరగతి మాత్రమే. స్వయంకృషితో ఎన్నెన్నో సాధించవచ్చు అని విశ్వసించి, ఆచరించి, నిరూపించిన సహజకవి, కర్షకకవి శ్రీ దువ్వూరి రామిరెడ్డి. అడుగడుగునా స్ఫూర్తిదాయకమనిపించే కవికోకిల జీవితంలోని ముఖ్యమైన ఘట్టాలు ఈ టాక్ షోలోని అంశం.

Bezawada Gopala Reddy (5 August 1907 – 9 March 1997) was an Indian politician. He was Chief Minister of the erstwhile Andhra State (28 March 1955 – 1 November 1956) and Governor of Uttar Pradesh (1 May 1967 – 1 July 1972). He is best know for his honest and clean political life. He retired from politics at the age of 65 years and never looked back at any political event. He dedicated his last 25 years to literary activities. He published around 25 of his own writings. KiranPrabha narrates most interesting anecdotes from the highly inspiring life of Dr. Bezawada Gopala Reddy. 42 సంవత్సరాల రాజకీయ జీవితంలో ఎప్పుడూ రాజకీయాలు చెయ్యలేదు. రాజకీయపదవులంటే ప్రజాసేవకే అని మనసావాచా నమ్మి అలాగే కొనసాగారు. పదవులు ఆయనవద్దకే వచ్చాయి తప్ప ఎప్పుడూ పదవులకోసం పాకులాడలేదు, పైరవీలు చెయ్యలేదు. ఏ పదవిలో ఉన్నా హాయిగా ఒక్కరే ఎక్కడికైనా కారులో వెళ్లగలిగిన, వెళ్ళిన మలినమెరుగని రాజకీయనాయకుడు. 30 ఏళ్ళకే మంత్రిపదవిని పొందిన తొలి అతిపిన్న వయస్కుడు. ఆంధ్ర రాష్ట్రానికి రెండో ముఖ్యమంత్రి. ఆయన హయాం లోనే నాగార్జునసాగర్ కి పునాది పడింది. హైదరాబాదులో రవీంద్రభారతి, పూనాలో ఫిల్మ్ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఏర్పడ్డంలో కీలకమైన పాత్రపోషించారు. 65 ఏళ్ళ వయసులో స్వచ్ఛందంగా రాజకీయాలనుంచి విరమించుకుని, ఆ తరువాత 25 సంవత్సరాల పాటు సాహితీలోకంలో సంచరించి 90 ఏళ్ళవయసులో కన్నుమూసిన అత్యంత స్ఫూర్తిదాయకమైన వ్యక్తి డా.బెజవాడ గోపాలరెడ్డిగారు.
