Uppaluri Gopala Krishnamurti (9 July 1918 – 22 March 2007) was a philosopher who questioned the state of spiritual enlightenment. Having pursued a religious path in his youth and eventually rejecting it, U.G. claimed to have experienced a devastating biological transformation on his 49th birthday, an event he refers to as "the calamity". He emphasized that this transformation back to "the natural state" is a rare, acausal, biological occurrence with no religious context. He rejected the very basis of thought and in doing so negated all systems of thought and knowledge. Hence he explained his assertions were experiential and not speculative – "Tell them that there is nothing to understand.". KiranPrabha narrates the interesting life sketch of UG in this episode.

Raj Kiran Mahtani is a bollywood actor. He made his debut in B. R. Ishara's Kaagaz Ki Nao (1975) and achieved the crest of his career in the 1980s, having appeared in more than 100 films. He disappeared from the industry and was thought to be living as a recluse in the United States for many years. Rishi Kapoor was reportedly told by Gobind Mahtani, the brother of Raj Kiran that the actor was in Atlanta in an asylum where he was living due to a mental illness. In 2011, his daughter issued a public statement negating the reports of Raj Kiran being found in Atlanta. She and her family have been looking for him with the assistance of New York police and private detectives for years.
